Today the monastery is a destination for many people, lay and religious alike, who wish to stay in silence and pray together with the community of the Poor Clare Sisters.
The sisters welcome those who come to them in need of a word of hope, offering comfort and sharing, or simply a listening ear.
Thanks to the cooperation of friends and benefactors, we have been able to create a place of welcome next to the monastery. It consists of a hall used for prayer and meetings, two double bedrooms with bathroom and a self-catering kitchenette.
The “House of Friends” offers shelter to those looking for an oasis in the city of men, who wish to rest and rediscover the meaning of their own life, of love and of action.
There are also many requests to stay from young people engaged in a journey of discerning their vocation, from religious who wish to stay for a weekend retreat or for a week of retreat, and from couples who need a time of rest and a moment of reflection in the light of the Word of God.
